Refund and Returns Policy

At The Cheapest Mart, we strive to ensure all products delivered to you are in good condition. Due to the nature of grocery and perishable items, our return and refund policy is subject to the terms below.


1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return or refund if:

  • The item received is damaged or defective

  • The item received is incorrect

  • The item is expired upon delivery

  • The item is missing from your order

Requests must be made within 24 hours of receiving your order.


2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or refund unless proven defective or incorrect:

  • Fresh produce (fruits & vegetables)

  • Frozen food

  • Chilled items

  • Opened or used products

  • Items damaged due to customer mishandling

  • Change of mind purchases


3. Proof Requirement

To process your request, customers must provide:

  • Order number

  • Clear photo or video of the item

  • Description of the issue

Requests without sufficient proof may be rejected.


4. Refund Method

Once approved, refunds will be processed via one of the following:

  • Refund to original payment method, or

  • Store credit (if applicable)

Processing time may take 5–10 business days, depending on the payment provider.


5. Replacement Policy

Where possible, we may offer:

  • Item replacement, or

  • Partial refund (if appropriate)

This will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.


6. Cancellation Policy

Orders may only be cancelled before processing or packing begins.
Once the order has been processed or shipped, cancellation is not allowed.
